We were busy closing sales that this blog fell to the wayside over the past few months. We want to catch up and mention some noteworthy sales by Delmore Realty from the spring and summer of 2016.
The lovely Honua Kai #246 in Kaanapali sold by listing broker Thomas G. Delmore, PB in April 2016 for $1,395,000. This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit at 130 Kai Malina Parkway, Lahaina is located at one of West Maui’s newest and most sought after vacation complexes with gorgeous swimming pools on a white-sand beach and a Duke’s restaurant.
In Central Maui, Susan J. Halas R(B) was the listing broker for Mount Thomas #203, which sold in May for the full list price of $240,000 for an affordable condo unit in a secure building in Wailuku up on the hill with BIG VIEWS overlooking Kahului Harbor and Haleakala.
Kimberly Delmore R(B) and Thomas G. Delmore, PB co-listed a home with a waterfall at 221 Kamalei Circle, Kahului, in The Island at Maui Lani and it sold in May for $856,000. Kimberly Delmore R(B) also represented the Buyers of the meticulously cared for home which was located along the Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course.
In May, Kimberly Delmore R(B) listed a home for sale at 134 Molehulehu Lp, Kahului at The Legends at Maui Lani. The one-story home on a corner lot quickly went under contract and the sale closed in July through an FHA loan.
Iao Parkside #35-202 at 71 Waiaka Lane, Wailuku sold in July by listing broker Kimberly Delmore R(B) for $275,000. This 2-bedroom/2 bathroom unit had views overlooking a ball park out to the ocean, high ceilings, and the buyer purchased the property through a USDA loan.
Thomas G. Delmore, PB was the listing agent for a Lahaina home at 897 Kanakea Lp. This one-story home in Kelawea Mauka sat on a 8,189 sf lot and sold in August for $560,000 through a VA loan.

The Buyers of 197 Poniu Circle, Wailuku, a 1600 sf home in the convenient and desired Kaimana at Kehalani neighborhood were represented by Kimberly Delmore R(B) in March. The home was purchased for $552,500.
Kahului Ikena Unit #321, a 1-bedroom/1-bath unit at 60 Kunihi Lane, was purchased through the representation of Kimberly Delmore R(B) in July for $205,000. Kahului Ikena is like a hidden gem and many don’t know about it. So convenient, walking distance to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, Keopuolani Park, UH-Maui and so close to medical facilities & shopping.
A spectacularly remodeled 2-bedroom/2-bath unit was purchased at the Kapalua Golf Villas through the representation of Kimberly Delmore R(B) in July. Unit #24P7,8 at 500 Kapalua Drive, Lahaina was purchased for $920,000 through a cash sale. The 1,411 sf unit has panoramic views of the ocean and outer islands and famous West Maui sunsets.
Jeannie Kitagawa R(S) & Kimberly Delmore R(B) represented the Buyer of 413 S. Puunene Avenue in a sale that closed for $410,000 cash in August. The transaction was an REO, also known as a bank sale/ previously foreclosed home sale. The home sits on a 9,331 sf lot in the middle of Kahului.
Delmore Realty recently represented the Buyer of the 10 Kawaiiki Pl in the Wailuku Parkside subdivision of Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii. The 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home had a great big back yard and an ideal location in a cul de sac. Kimberly Delmore R(B) assisted the buyer with the purchase. Delmore Realty recently sold 929 E. Onaha Place in the Wailuku subdivision of Waiehu Terrace. Kimberly Delmore R(B) represented the seller in the sale that closed at the end of August. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home was located in a private cul de sac. There were beautiful West Maui Mountain views from the living room and also nice views of Haleakala and the nearby heiau. The home sold for $420,000 and the buyer received an FHA loan from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage through loan consultant Sandra Rice, who did a great job as the loan seemed flawless from the seller’s vantage point. The home was just a short walk to the Waiehu Terrace park and its basketball court.
Delmore Realty recently sold 960 Lekeona Loop in the Wailuku neighborhood of Waiehu Heights. The 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home was one of the newest in the subdivision, which has been there since the 1970s. This property was built in 2003 and sits on more than a quarter acre of land. It featured spectacular West Maui Mountain views that were truly stunning. The views created a sense of great privacy. The house itself had beautiful granite counters in the kitchen and gorgeous bamboo floors. The property received multiple offers and sold for $550,000 cash. Kimberly Delmore R(B) recently represented the buyers in the purchase of 1 W. Makahakaha, Wailuku in the Waikapu Gardens subdivision. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath single level home sits on one of the larger lots in the neighborhood. It’s a great location just across the street from the neighborhood park, and with immediate neighbors only one side due to how it is situated. It was a competitive situation to purchase the home with multiple offers. The home was attractive because it offered photovoltaic solar electric system for low electric bills, a central a/c system, sprinkler system, fully fenced, large covered patio and yard. The home sold for $560,000.
The escrow was really fast for a conventional loan purchase – it closed in 21 days from start to close of escrow. The loan officer, Brady Spangler of Axia Home Loans, played a huge role in getting this super fast escrow through. Brady Spangler really outshone the competition on his ability to communicate, be true to what he said, and get the loan through quickly with no problems. USDA home loans income eligibility allows you to get through the loan process quickly too. This can really be a rarity and really made my job as a real estate agent much easier.
